First, assume that no one really needs to go to your shopping centre. There’s very little that your retailers sell that can’t be purchased elsewhere.

So you need to focus instead on the whole shopping experience. Completely differentiate your customer experience and make sure it’s remarkable. Retailers come and go but there will always be a market for truly remarkable experiences.
